"Sabitri Ekta Janasewa Samuha" an organisation helping poor, helpless and orphans for education and upbringing of such children since 2053 B.S. (1998 A.D.) till now. It was initiated in 2053 B.S. but only after 2 years it was formally legalised. Among 18 helpless and orphan children living in this organisation, some were just 1 week old, some 1-month-old and others were brought in this organisation at different ages. Currently there are 2 years to 14 years old children in this organisation.

Only the family members of Mrs. Sabitri Rai, chairperson of this organisation, formally look after “Sabitri Ekta Janasewa Samuha”, till now. And now due to the expanding numbers of the children, the organisation is facing difficulties in upbringing them, only the service provided by the family members is inadequate. Many children now are growing up rapidly because of that the organisation limited in just 6 rooms cannot provide them the room to live and environment to study. For that the organisation now requires not less than 14-15 rooms are extremely essential for the betterment of the children. Along with that it requires fulltime governess and a maid to look after the children living in this organisation and for that Rs. 5000 each as salary for two of them. Till now seldom support from the locals and some foreig volunteer has not been enough to handle this organisation despite of this the organisation has found some income sources in the local market. Only the support from the small production and seldom support from the locals or volunteer is not enough for expanding the organisation. The organisation is for all orphan and helpless children and just the 15 children living in this organisation cannot represent all the helpless and orphan children throughout the country. So, from any perspective we cannot deny the expansion of children in this organisation. For this there are no any other organisation, NGOs, INGOs etc. to support "Sabitri Ekta Janasewa Samuha". So, the organisation is trying to be totally independent itself, among such plans some plans are been running in this organisation and some are further plans.

Sabitri Ekta Janasewa Samuha" was initiated in 2053 B.S. when 65 years old asthma patient known as Sita Thapa was brought here from Patan Hospital. She lived here for 3 years and passed away due to asthma. Similarly Deep Rai, Roshan Rai and Numa Rai who were abandoned by their parents were brought in this institution and started to stay here. All this was possible due to Mrs. Sabitri Rai and her eldest daughter Mrs. Samu Rai who were determined to help such children/person who were helpless, orphan or abandoned by their parents. The three children staying here were fed up and educated by Mrs. Sabitri Rai and Mrs. Samu Rai bearing all the expenditure for the need of those children.

The institution was legally established in 2055 B.S., which expanded the number of helpless and in distress people. All the expenditure borne by Mrs. Sabitri Rai and Mrs. Samu Rai was inadequate to fulfill the needs of children staying in the institution. Therefore, chairperson of this institution Mrs. Sabitri Rai started to seek help from here friends and knocked the door of unknown people for the same purpose. This was bit fruitful for the financial collection though it could not properly manage the basic needs and education of children. After this entire procedure chairperson Rai started assembling a group of helpers and invited them as members in the institution.

Chairperson Rai is running this institution till now. Along with that she is handling her own business too and the interest gained from her business is also invested in this institution. Apart from this eldest daughter of the chairperson Mrs. Samu Rai, now in U.S.A., and chairpersons Brother-in-law, now in Japan, are seldom helping the institution financially. Similarly, apart from financial support foreign visitor, who know about this institution and some local residents of this place help this institution by providing goods, required food and stationery for the childrens education.

Further, chairpersons family from the past consummates management, taking care of children and physical, environmental, moral help and continuing it till now.

Sabitri Ekta Janasewa Samuha, running with a great goal has gained no finance or other help permanently till now. This imitable target is not possible only by limited aid or with the help or involvement of the only family. For this everyone possessing keen interest to help the helpless, orphan or the abandoned ones (by their parents) through this institution are invited for the financial or goods support for such children. This is a humble request to every foreign organisation; NGOs, INGOs, foreign natives, locals and those who are willing for the betterment of this institution are requested to help.
